Hi,

I am looking at the demo environment and I am confused why planned purchase orders sometimes show cost amount and sometimes it does not. This is the window I am referring to in USMF company

I have the same question (0)

I see all of it has a purchase price in the item master, so what is the logic for the cost amount to be populated?

    Hi,

It is calculated from the active cost for the product (under Manage costs> Item price).

Under Master Planning->Setup->Planned order cost calculation should be run after MRP and the costs will show.

Do you know how the cost values are populated in Master Planning > Inquiries and Reports > Master Planning > Item Requirement Statistics?
Are they based on the active standard cost or on a planned cost version?
I'm trying to simulate a planning scenario using next year's expected costs, which are maintained in a cost version that has not yet been activated. Is it possible for the Item Requirement Statistics to use those planned costs instead of the currently active standard costs? If so, how can this be configured?

Thanks in advance for you insights.

    Best regards,
    Omar
